Job description

Target Furniture – Christchurch, South Island

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on exceeding sales goals and KPIs set by the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain a clean, well‑merchandised store and follow up on quotations and any sales opportunities.
  • Relish the opportunity to work alongside others and enjoy our high‑performance and engagement culture.
  • Work part‑time (20 hours per week) over 3 days, including Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in furniture retail (structured training will be provided).
  • Fit and capable of lifting as required.
  • A team player known for honesty, integrity and open communication.
  • Results‑driven and passionate about making a difference with customers, with outstanding customer focus, relationship‑building skills and ability to deliver results.
  • Strong work ethic, committed to adding value to the role and not afraid to roll up sleeves and get the job done.
  • Work Schedule

  • Weekend and public holiday shifts as needed.
  • Trading hours 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM.
