We are looking for an experienced PACS / RIS Applications Specialist to ensure ongoing effective provision of quality IT systems support across our three Wellington Radiology branches.

Reporting to our General Manager you will play a crucial role in the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of Affinity Medical Imaging's PACS and RIS.

You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of these systems, providing technical support to users, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance workflow efficiency, and serving as the primary point of contact for referrers, assisting them with streamlining image access and account set-up.

This is a permanent full-time position; however we can be flexible for the right person if part-time is preferred.

Ideal candidates will have :

Previous radiology experience (3+ years) working with PACS and RIS systems

Proficiency in PACS / RIS software platforms (e.g. InteleRad) and related technologies (DICOM, HL7)

Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to medical imaging and information management

A high level of professional competence

Commitment to ongoing professional development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
