As a Service Manager, your role involves creating a positive team environment, meeting individual needs, and building relationships with families. Prior people management experience is required, and a background in Health and Disability is preferred but not essential. Key attributes include a genuine desire to make a positive difference, a can‑do attitude, and adaptability.
This role will include supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs and behaviours that can challenge. You will play a key role in helping manage overwhelming emotions, while promoting safety and positive behaviours. This role requires physical fitness, resilience, and confidence to manage risk and respond effectively in challenging situations.
You’ll report to the Area Manager and collaborate with other Service Managers and the Regional / National team to help promote a supportive work environment where meaningful progress is possible.
