About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst , preferably based in New Zealand , with flexibility to consider candidates across Australia . This role offers hybrid working. The position involves shift-based coverage , including availability for weekend shifts , to support 24 / 7 security operations.

Responsibilities :

Advanced Threat Monitoring and Detection

• Conduct second-level analysis of alerts, events, and telemetry across customer environments using SIEM and related tools.
• Validate, escalate, and contain high-severity or complex incidents in coordination with DFIR or Threat Intel teams.
• Correlate multi-source data to detect evasive or advanced persistent threats.

Incident Response Leadership

Shift Leadership and Quality Assurance

Customer Engagement and Service Excellence

SOC Process Improvement and Collaboration
