Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity

By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career.

Our local Balclutha store is looking for a Sales Specialist to join the team! This is a role with real variety! You will be providing support and advice to our customers and assisting in the busy operation of our retail store. You’ll be handling inwards and outwards goods; inventory control and stock takes. Being our dedicated deliveries person means you will be able to get out and about and interact with our farmers daily.

With the opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, there couldn’t be a better place to start.

Please note , hours of work will be Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm and rostered Saturday’s 9am – 12pm

Mōu | About You

We’re looking for down to earth team players who’ll enjoy a role that keeps them busy and offer the chance for some great farming banter with our friendly customers.

Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service / sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we’re equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag / dairy industry.

Sound like you, other key things we’re on the lookout for includes :

• A full, clean drivers’ licence
• Valid Forklift Licence would be required
• Dangerous Good Licence - beneficial
• A good level of physical fitness – you’ll have no trouble getting your daily steps in!
