About the role | Ko te mahi nei

The role of Manager Marketing & Identity is a key part of the Communications and Engagement Leadership team, and takes responsibility for :

Leading the development of the Council's brand direction, creative and strategic marketing activity across a range of channels.
Overseeing the development and implementation of strategic and operational marketing plans that align with the Council's strategic priorities.
Championing the Council tone of voice / identity throughout the organisation.
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an account-based marketing function.
Leading our talented team of Marketing Assistants, Advisors and Graphic Designers.

About you | Ko Koe Tēnei

Our Ideal Applicant Will

Have at least 10 years marketing experience.

Have proven leadership skills within the marketing sector.

Be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.

Have experience in brand strategy development and implementation, ideally within a large, complex organisation.

Be a team player and a strong advocate for community engagement.

Position - full-time, permanent

Location - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street

Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $126,230 to $140,255 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
