Our ventures include a ~$2.3B property portfolio and hotel management, just to name a few.About the RoleTo deliver excellent drinks and first class customer service with passion, style and flair.Key ResponsibilitiesPre serviceRequisition stock, fruit and consumables from stores and check off stock when deliveredSetting up both the bar and the room.Lighting, sounds, screens, temperature, furniture, and general appearance of the venue all need to be spot on.In setting up the bar you will be responsible for ensuring stations are set up appropriately with fruit, ice, utensils and all cocktail ingredients.All floats are counted and in place, fruit prep is done and glassware arranged.During serviceIts show time and you will be a focal point of the room.Customer acknowledgment and interaction is vital as is maintaining a clean and safe workplace.You will be required to deliver quality drinks in an engaging and timely fashion whilst working as part of a team.You will be responsible for operation of the POS systems, accurately processing all cash and card transactions, and held accountable for your till.You are required to maintain a clean and efficient workspace during service.Communicate any issues or incidents to management.Post serviceAll aspects of closing and cleaning the bar.Restocking of the bar, securing stock, removing bins and leaving the place ready for next day's trade.Breakdown and chemically clean the coffee machineSkills & ExperienceKnowledge of Cocktails is essential.6 months experience working in a busy high tempo BarPositive and Enthusiastic attitudeDetail orientatedIncredible team member discounts from your first day on-the-job.50% off stays at EVT hotels – Rydges, QT, Atura, Lylo and more.
