Job Description :

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

Determining plastering requirements by studying drawings, specifications and workorders

Preparing and cleaning surfaces before plastering

Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement or other materials to walls, ceilings andother surfaces

Applying and finishing coats of plaster using hand tools and machines

Installing cornices, mouldings and other decorative materials

Installing prefabricated plasterboard and related materials on walls and ceilings

Repairing existing plasterwork and surfaces

Applying protective and decorative coverings such as texture coatings or trowelledfinishes

Job requirement : applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

NZQF Level 4 qualification

At least three years of working experience in relevant industry

Strong understanding of building plans and specifications.

Physical fitness and manual dexterity.

Problem-solving and time management skills.
