Management Accountant

The RoleIn this role you'll be reporting in to a new look Finance leadership team, and have a wide remit outside of your usual BAU Management Accounting.

The key responsibilities are as follows : Preparation of Monthly Management reportingAssist in the preparation of Budgets, quarterly forecastingMonthly variance analysisBusiness Partnering with key stakeholdersMonth End JournalsBalance sheet reconciliationsAd hoc project workThe long term plan for this role is to progress it in a Business Partner path where you will use your finance and commercial acumen to provide detailed financial advice and drive performance.

You will also be given scope to help implement new systems and processes.About YouThis role could either be a Management Accountant or Senior Management Accountant level, depending on your level of experience.

As a Senior, you will ideally come from a Commercial Management / Corporate Accounting background, either looking for a step up, or a new long term home.

For a Management Accountant, you might come from a BAS Accounting background looking for your first role out of a firm, with experience in the fundamentals of Management Accounting (Budgeting, journals, forecasts, variance analysis).

The Essentials Are As FollowsRecent experience in a commercial environment.CA qualified or equivalent, or working towards itSomeone excited about a variety of business, building relationships.The ability to problem solveA high level of initiativeAnd a can-do personality and a willingness to get stuck in!
