Role Overview

As our new Team Leader – Lump Sum Claims,you'lllead a high-performing team of Claims professionals, guiding them to deliver exceptional service and empathetic support to our customers and advisers.You'llplay a key role in ensuring our claims promise is upheld and in line with our Good Customer Principles and regulatory obligations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Development

Inspire, coach, and empower your team to reach their full potential

Drive performance to meet strategic goals and service level agreements

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Claims Management

Oversee the assessment and management of Lump Sum claims

Ensuretimely,accurate, and empathetic communication with customers and advisers

Manage team workflows and priorities, especially during periods of leave or high volume

Operational Excellence

Align processes with ourclaimsstrategy and customer experience goals

Identifyand implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery

Authorise assessments within delegated authority levels

Desired Skills and Experience

WhatWe'reLooking For

Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Insurance preferred

2+ years in the insurance industry, ideally within a claims environment

Experience working with third-party providers such as lawyers, medical experts, and regulators

Leadership or coaching training is a plus

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
