Overview

Customer Service Support role at Assurant. This is a fixed-term 12‑month, part-time position offering approximately 20 hours per week. Based in Auckland, the role supports the Customer Service team during peak periods and key projects. It is primarily non-phone-based with occasional phone support during peak times.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal teams and external dealer partners by ensuring smooth operations, accurate reporting, and efficient administration.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the role contributes to delivering a high-quality customer experience during peak periods and major initiatives.

About You

  • Proven experience in administrative or customer service support roles
  • Experience working in a motor insurance environment, with an understanding of insurance products and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Underwriting experience is highly advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
