About the role

Nelson Hospital seeks for an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Radiology team. Our radiology service is committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient care across the region. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, patient-centred environment. There are opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement.

You will participate in a 24 / 7 rotating Monday to Sunday shift roster.

About the Team / Service / Location

Nelson Hospital Radiology is a leading diagnostic provider with two brand-new Siemens dual energy CT scanners and a team of experienced professionals. Our department offers a comprehensive range of imaging services, including General Radiography, CT scanning, MRI, Interventional / Cardiac Cath Lab and ultrasound, dedicating a gold standard service to a diverse patient population. We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service to improve patient outcomes.

About you

As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will :

• Work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly, patient-centred environment.
• Perform high quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT scans, and ultrasound, with accuracy and attention to patient safety.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging that supports patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their imaging experience.
