We are looking for expressions of interest for Casual Health Care Assistants in the Wellington Region.

Mo Te Turanga - About The Role
As a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our residents in their daily living and social requirements.
You will also encourage residents to maintain their independence and make decisions for themselves.
Responsibilities
Deliver the highest standard of personalised care to every Resident
Support and encourage residents to maintain their independence and make decisions for themselves
Assist and support the activities of daily living in a way that meets the Eden principles and the Domains of Wellbeing
Working under the supervision and direction of the RN.
Ensure resident's needs are attended to effectively and in a timely manner
Mo Koe - About You
As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills.
You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect.
In addition, you will have :
At least 2 years' experience in aged care or other healthcare assistant or support worker role
You must hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Health and Wellbeing
Willingness to gain Health Care and Wellbeing qualifications whilst you work
Good verbal communication and documentation skills
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively as an active member within a team environment
Willingness to work across our Wellington Homes including Cashmere, Huntleigh, Longview and Woburn.
Must Reside in the Wellington Region
