OverviewWe are currently seeking Automation Systems Engineer(s) for a role at a growing systems integration company that is one of the leading automation companies in New Zealand.
This role provides service / maintenance support to customers remotely and on-site.
The work involves servicing and integrating automation solutions in industries such as dairy, food and beverage, civil infrastructure and water treatment.
The role has the potential to grow into a position managing a service team.
The candidate must be passionate about providing support services to customers, be able to travel on-site for troubleshooting, and develop solutions to fix issues with complex automation integrations.You will need demonstrated ability to lead the troubleshooting of client systems integrations across multiple industries for manufacturing and process automation solutions.The role requires familiarity with a range of electrical procedures in factory automation—design, programming, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and research and development.ResponsibilitiesLead troubleshooting of client systems integrations across multiple industries for manufacturing and process automation solutions.Provide service / maintenance support to customers remotely and on-site.Service, service, and integrate automation solutions across applicable industries (dairy, food & beverage, civil infrastructure, water treatment).
QualificationsDegree with Mechatronics courses OR Engineering OR related field OR 4+ years experience as an Automation Engineer delivering projects requiring PLC, HMI and SCADA programming.3+ years programming experience with PLCs / PLCs (PLC / HMI / SCADA) across multiple platforms; examples include Rockwell / Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix / CompactLogix / MicroLogix / SLC series) and Schneider M580 and M340.Experience supporting programming for HMI and SCADA systems : Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE for SCADA and ME for HMI; Aveva Wonderware System Platform
