This pushes us to do all we can to create a better future for our people, our communities, and Aotearoa New Zealand.Ta matou arawatea | Our Opportunity : We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team, delivering solutions within our modern Data Platform.You will use your technical engineering background and strong communication skills to contribute to the foundations of Mercury's Data Platform and deliver bespoke products to our business users.About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team, delivering solutions within our modern Data Platform.ResponsibilitiesBuild, test, deploy and monitor data pipelines using the Mercury Data Platform technology and processes.Be confident in developing complex transformations from multiple data sources whilst maintaining history through Change Data Capture.Be comfortable with working in cross-functional delivery squads, specifically with Business Analysts, Analytics Engineers and Solution Architects.Liaise with data source owners and / or SMEs to understand Mercury's data assets, allowing these to be leveraged within the Data Platform.Provide mentoring to junior members of Delivery Squads.Challenge the status quo.
