About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our Adolescent team within the Bay of Plenty CAMHS. This role blends day-to-day clinical leadership with acute care response coordination, providing a pivotal link between rangatahi, their whānau, CAMHS, and wider community partners.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide visible, supportive clinical leadership across the multidisciplinary team.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture, ensuring staff feel supported, valued, and inspired in their mahi.
• Lead and coordinate the acute response pathway, ensuring safe, timely and effective care for young people in crisis.
• Act as a specialist liaison, building strong connections with ED, Paediatrics, Oranga Tamariki, Police, NGOs, schools and other key partners.
• Coach, mentor and guide staff to ensure safe, recovery-focused, and culturally responsive care.
• Maintain a high clinical profile, working alongside the team in day-to-day clinical practice.
• Work in close partnership with the Team Leader, sharing responsibility for shaping service delivery and supporting the growth of the team.
• Work closely with the Team Leader to develop and strengthen CAMHS services, embedding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and service user / whānau voice at every level.
