Job Description

The role

In this 2-year fixed term opportunity as a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role within Alpine of providing business analysis capability for projects, understanding the business needs to enable definition and documentation of problems or opportunities and shape fit for the future, aligned solutions to deliver business outcomes.

As a Business Analyst in our Transformation team, you will be responsible for :

Building a full understanding of the business requirements, using data and information to define problems and value creation opportunities

Documenting current and future state representations of business processes and supporting work instructions

Eliciting information from stakeholders to understand and translate their requirements into a language and format that is understood by project teams

Supporting Project Managers in the management of BA resourcing requirements, ensuring project placements align with required skillsets to maximise project outcomes

What you'll need

Experience in a similar role (Usually 5+ years)

Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to draw out nuggets of information

Have good knowledge of software application design and implementation, and standard software life cycle practices

Experience working with a variety of delivery approaches (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.) and supporting tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps)

Nice to haves

Experience in data migration and systems integration

Experience of working and contributing to a multi-disciplinary team with a mixture of in-house and outsourced services, with liaison and management of the vendors in the delivery of their services

A relevant degree and / or certificates
