The Position Surgical Registrar positions available in Wellington, NZ.

Doctors may be able to work in General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Vascular Surgery, Urology, etc.

Health Service Located centrally in Wellington the health service has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff, making them one of the major employers in the Wellington region.

Operating across three hospitals and a health centre, this health service provides a range of specialist services including neurosurgery, oncology, neonatal intensive care and community-based services including district nursing, rehabilitation services, social work, alcohol and drug services, and home support services to a population of around 900,000 people.

Essential Criteria Eligible for New Zealand Medical Practitioner registration - Doctors must either be AU / NZ / UK graduates or eligible to apply for registration via The Competent Authority Pathway or Comparable Health System Pathway.

Have highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a commitment to clinical governance within healthcare.

The Package Attractive salary of between $150-$190k NZD pa dependant upon number of hours worked and level of post-graduate experience.
