Manage customer enquiries, including those received via email.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Accurately calculate and charge fees in line with Council policy.
Assist with maintaining accreditation processes.
Provide accurate information and support to the wider Regulatory Services team.
Process applications efficiently, meeting legislative requirements and timeframes.
Review and vet online and paper applications.
Ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Assist with scheduling inspection and monitoring appointments.

Relevant qualification or 3+ years' administration experience .
Working towards or holding the NZ Certificate in Building Regulatory Environment (Level 4) .

Great interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with customers.
Clear and effective communication of processes and requirements.
Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and processes.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
Knowledge of the Building Code, Building Act, and related legislation (or willingness to learn).

Circa $72,000 - $85,000 dependent on skills and experience.
