Full Stack Engineer – Healthcare Web App

Join a dynamic project developing a full‑stack web application for the healthcare sector. This remote contract role involves collaborating closely with an experienced lead developer and a small, established development agency. The project leverages modern TypeScript technologies, specifically Next.js for the frontend and Fastify for the backend, to deliver robust, scalable solutions. You will play a key role in building new features, ensuring code quality, and contributing to the overall success of the application. The position offers the opportunity to work on a meaningful project with the potential for future assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full‑stack features using TypeScript, Next.js, and Fastify
  • Collaborate with the lead developer to design and implement scalable solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in security and data privacy, especially within the healthcare context

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience with full‑stack TypeScript development
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js and Fastify frameworks
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and modern web application architecture
  • Familiarity with database integration and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
