About the Role (your why)

We’re seeking a dynamic Consulting Director to support the Head of Consulting New Zealand in growing the market and enhancing Datacom’s position as a strong consulting-led technology partner. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a strong consulting background, commercial acumen, and a passion for storming and forming, shaping opportunities and framing up to work with high-performing cross functional teams.

What you’ll do

• Support presales activities, including solutioning, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Lead complex client engagements across strategy, transformation, and technology domains.
• Partner with sales and delivery teams to develop compelling value propositions and win strategies.
• Support the Head of Consulting NZ in executing growth strategies, identifying new opportunities, and expanding client relationships.
• Champion Datacom’s consulting-led approach to technology, reinforcing our market presence and client value.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
