Due to a relocation out of Auckland of our senior specialist teacher, we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed high school social science teacher who can also teach up to Y12 English .

Applicants should state their specialist subject area. We are particularly interested in teachers with expertise in one or more of the following senior subjects : History, classical studies, media studies, psychology or geography.

The ideal candidate will be creative, articulate, and collaborative, with strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students. A genuine commitment to placing students at the centre of their work and to teaching in alignment with the special character of the school is essential.

Applicants must have :

• A thorough knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA.
• Current New Zealand teacher registration.
• A willingness to teach and organise programmes that reflect the school’s special character.

While a background in Steiner pedagogy is desirable, we welcome applicants who are flexible and open to holistic approaches to education. Our class sizes are small, fostering strong relationships and meaningful learning experiences.
