Role Description

This full-time hybrid position, based in Hamilton with some work-from-home flexibility, seeks a Senior Solicitor / Lawyer to provide expert legal advice and services. Responsibilities include managing client cases, overseeing transactions, drafting legal documents, providing strategic advice to businesses and individuals, and representing clients in legal proceedings. The role requires proactive engagement with clients, collaboration with colleagues, and a commitment to delivering tailored, high-quality legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in legal research, analysis, and drafting of complex legal documents
• Strong skills in client counsel, case management, and negotiating favorable outcomes
• Experienced in property law, family law, and business law
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills
• Proficiency in using legal software and technology tools
• LLB qualification, with current practicing certificate
• Previous experience in a mid-level to senior solicitor role, preferably in property or commercial law
