Join a dynamic team at the Centre for Geospatial and Computing Technologies, where you'll lead research and teaching in Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI.
You'll contribute to postgraduate supervision, collaborate across disciplines, and help shape the future of digital technologies in land-based sectors.
Responsibilities
Conducting and publishing high-quality AI research
Teaching postgraduate courses in AI, particularly Generative AI
Supervising Honours, Masters, and PhD students
Incorporating Maori and Pasifika perspectives in research and teaching
Seeking research funding and contributing to collaborative projects
Engaging with industry, iwi, and community stakeholders
Permanent role, 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) at our Lincoln Campus, commencing April
The salary is on the Lecturer scale up to $90,834 per annum dependent on skills and experience.

A completed PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field
A developing research and publication record in AI or related areas
Experience teaching at tertiary level with strong communication skills
