Our client is in search of a Managing Director-New Zealand.
This role oversees the New Zealand operations of a global leading biotechnology subsidiary, specializing in the production of high-purity native and recombinant proteins for the autoimmune diagnostic industry. The role requires a commercially minded executive with proven experience leading cross‑functional teams. The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and global collaboration within a dynamic and evolving organization.
What You'll Do
- Achieve the annual P&L targets for the territory under your management.
- Must find solutions to optimize the subsidiary's expenses.
- Provide essential business information (KPIs).
- Must ensure compliance with regulations in terms of technical installation, customer service quality and labor law.
- Must set up and develop the customer experience in the country under his / her responsibility.
- Must develop and implement processes and organization to support the subsidiary's growth.
- Leads and develops the subsidiary’s teams (sales; service; marketing; ADV etc.) and directs the execution of their mission in the field. This role will have 7 direct reports.
- Leads, integrates and coaches a performance culture.
- Supports and drives continuous improvement and sets high performance targets in all areas and at all levels of the subsidiary.
What You Bring
Holder of a business degree (or equivalent), with at least 10 years' experience in sales functions and confirmed managerial experience.
