  • An exciting PA role supporting our GM Transformation and Delivery.
  • A variety filled role that offers plenty of scope for innovation and initiative.
  • Based at ASB's state of the art head office, on Auckland's North Wharf.

Our Delivery Practice is a warm and welcoming bunch, in this role you will not just be a PA but be part of the team and be the "Go To" person for Delivery Practice.

Te Tūranga | The role:

This role will see you being the 'go to person' for the GM Transformation and Delivery to enable them to free their time as you proactively take on a range of secretarial duties.

  • Prepare/coordinate material for presentations, meetings, organising of domestic and international travel on occasion with our inhouse booking system.
  • This position requires at least 4 on-site/offsite events or conferences a year where you will put on your event coordinator hat and run them start to finish. This may require hosting, organising catering, transport, guest speakers and third party hosted activities. We have hi-tech facilities onsite, which will also require liaising with our inhouse team for set up and pack down.
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating diaries, as well as organising internal and external meetings, you'll be quick to respond to administration requests and answer any queries from internal and external stakeholders, also manage delegation for approvals.
  • The role will require you to carry out general administration tasks across the Delivery Practice, so it's important you have a 'can do attitude' and a show a willingness to help others.
  • There is scope for process improvement and enhancement, and it will be up to you to suggest innovative ways to improve current ways of working and then bring them to life.

Encompassing all aspects of PA and administration support at a senior level you will need to possess a natural ability to manage competing priorities, multitask in a fast-paced environment all whilst remaining calm and delivering under pressure.

We are seeking an enthusiastic go getter who has a "will try anything to make it work" attitude, willing to jump in and give everything a go.

  • Plenty of initiative and superior problem-solving, organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • You will already have experience in a similar role, or you may be looking to take the next step in your career gaining exposure with senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills and experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear communication is a must, and along with that, must be able to handle quick and unexpected changes.
  • Natural discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentially.
  • You'll be someone who thrives on taking ownership, working at pace in a busy and varied environment, and you will look for opportunities where you are able to be proactive to deliver unbeatable support.
