We are seeking two individuals to assist with kitchen operations at Royal India restaurant in Geraldine.
- Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Follow the regular daily, weekly and monthly cleaning rosters and standard methods for deep cleaning of floors, walls, coolers, ovens and operating equipment.
Cleaning kitchens, food preparation areas and sculleriesCleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurantsClean all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and equipmentTransferring, weighing and checking supplies and equipmentAssembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparing salads, savouries and sandwichesPacking food and beverage trays for servingCooking, toasting and heating simple food itemsRemoving cooked food from ovens and food warmersPreparation for the day ahead as directed by the chef in chargeControl the use of chemicals in the kitchenAssist in receiving and sorting supplies and deliveriesFollow systems and procedures in place for hygienic food handling practices.Organise the disposal of rubbishAssist with preparing and serving the orders if requiredAdhere to all legal requirements of the businessMaintain the kitchen equipment.Report any health and safety issues
