About the role
We're looking for a proactive and adaptable Business Support Officer to join our Environmental Protection Services team.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, supporting technical officers, streamlining processes, and ensuring our community receives exceptional service.
You'll be the go-to person for administrative coordination, data reporting, and customer service, helping the team deliver on important environmental, public health, and regulatory work.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) where you'll collaborate with a supportive team, take initiative, and contribute to shared goals while enjoying your work.
Your key responsibilities will include :
Manage day-to-day coordination for the team, ensuring smooth workflows.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain up-to-date information systems.
Support the administration of licensing, inspections, and compliance activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working.
Build positive relationships across teams and with our community.

Confidence in using Microsoft applications, especially Outlook and Excel.
