Reporter - Journalist

We are looking for a mid-grade reporter to join our busy newsroom.As a regional daily afternoon newspaper, this is a fantastic opportunity for a capable reporter to garner all-round experience in journalism you won't get with a city paper and an unparalleled great outdoors at your fingertips.This position is an exciting chance for competent self-starters to work in the leadership team with the West Coast's No 1 media organisation.We publish two daily newspapers, the Greymouth Star and Hokitika Guardian, a weekly community paper the West Coast Messenger, and the monthly Rural Life West Coast.The West Coast is a fertile news region.

This job offers reporters a fully rounded experience in all news gathering with plenty of variety and challenge.If you have a nous for hard news, a nice lively writing style and a deadeye for accuracy, we should talk.
