OverviewJoin Northpower's Foundation Crew and help power New Zealand's future.

We're looking for experienced and reliable Foundation Crew Members to undertake a wide range of civil and foundation works on the transmission grid.

You'll be part of a supportive team with a strong safety culture and opportunities to further develop your skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing work sites – identifying hazards, checking equipment, and setting up the site safelyTrenching, foundation upgrades, and civil works around transmission linesInstalling equipment and cables, moving materials, and general labouringReading and interpreting underground obstruction plansMaintaining tools, PPE, and Northpower property to a high standardProactively identifying and reporting safety risksContributing to a high-performance, safety-first team cultureExperienceFull Class 1 Driver's Licence (Class 2, 4, 5 or tracks endorsements are a bonus!)Strong safety record and a commitment to safe working practicesPhysically fit – capable of lifting, digging, and performing manual tasksGood communication skills and sound literacyReliable, hardworking, and enjoys working outdoors as part of a teamPrevious labouring or civil construction experience is preferredAbout usNorthpower is an electricity and fibre network provider for Whangarei and Kaipara, with more than 60,000 connected customers.
