We are on the search for an inspiring leader to join our Taihape team.

PGG Wrightson is a leading provider of products and services to the agricultural sector.

About the role

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced leader to join our Taihape Rural Supplies team.

In this role you'll be responsible for leading a small team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to provide technical sales advice and services to a range of agricultural customers.

You will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the store in line with company strategy and values, and you will work with the wider team including our Technical Field Representatives (TFRs) in the region to grow our market share and business presence in the community.

Administration, compliance, inventory, staff management and leadership are also important parts of this role, so you'll be computer savvy with strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.

You will be highly organised and enjoy working in an autonomous environment dealing with a wide range of customers and colleagues.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide effective management of the store team including coaching, appraisals and individual and team development

Identify and pursue opportunities for growth with existing and potential clients

Complete required store administration and inventory management processes in line with approved company procedures

Prepare, submit and monitor annual sales budgets for your store.

Skills & Experience

Proven leadership, management & sales skills preferably in a retail environment

New Zealand agricultural sector knowledge, experience and technical expertise

Excellent level of oral and written communication and be able to relate well to your team and our customers

A background in administration and inventory management
