About the Role

As a Shift Industrial Electrician, you’ll support plant uptime and reliability across process, utility, and packaging systems. This is a site where everyone rolls their sleeves up and so you'll focus on both mechanical and electrical systems, with electrical as your core skillset. This includes scheduled, reactive, and improvement maintenance in a continuous operation. You’ll work alongside experienced operators, engineers, and process technicians, helping to maintain equipment performance within strict food‑grade and safety standards.

They are growing the team and the site is moving to a 4‑on, 4‑off shift pattern (12 hour shifts, 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights), which will be in place next year.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on process, utility, and packaging systems
• Diagnose and repair faults in automated systems, drives, sensors, and instrumentation
• Maintain and optimise CIP systems, evaporators, dryers, powder handling, and packaging equipment
• Support operation and maintenance of steam, refrigeration, compressed air, and water services
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime
• Record maintenance activities using the CMMS, ensuring traceability and compliance
• Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and safety standards in all work
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams during shift operations and shutdowns
