Corporate Counsel / Senior Corporate Counsel

About the Role

Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll be an integral part of UDC's cohesive, close-knit legal team, providing commercially focused legal advice across all areas of the business. Your work will be varied and stimulating with no two days being the same. Work includes :

• Assisting with transactions and reviewing commercial contracts
• Advising on marketing issues
• Assisting in customer dispute resolution
• Contributing to business projects and collaborating with various stakeholders (including the Executive Team) and external counsel to develop strategies to mitigate risk and respond to regulatory changes
• Advising on consumer, business, and wholesale finance products
• Preparing and delivering legal training to the business

This role is a fixed-term (12 months) position based in Auckland's CBD, with flexible work options available.
