We require an enthusiastic innovative teacher to join our Mathematics Learning Area. You will have the ability to teach maths to all year levels (9–13) and will be working in a well-supported environment.

Our Maths Department at WEGC is a dynamic team of eight dedicated educators who bring a wide range of strengths and experiences to the table, including backgrounds from primary to tertiary education, including international teaching experience. We pride ourselves on strong collaboration – regularly sharing resources, ideas, and best practices to ensure consistency and high-quality teaching across all levels. With well-established systems in place, we have created an efficient and supportive environment where teachers can focus on engaging students and fostering a love for mathematics. The applicant will have familiarity with the New Zealand Curriculum, NCEA and the skills to use ICT to enhance learning outcomes.

There is potential for additional fixed term hours in 2026.
