Trades Assistant

Alliance Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant to support the Lorneville Plant team in Invercargill. You will work under the direction of skilled tradespeople to contribute to the efficient operation of the plant while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities :

• Assist skilled tradespeople with day-to-day maintenance and repairs
• Help ensure plant machinery and equipment are operating efficiently
• Support the safe handling of tools and equipment, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed promptly
• Performing minor maintenance or repair tasks under supervision
• Assist with troubleshooting, planned maintenance and basic diagnostics of plant machinery
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and completed tasks
