Lead a Legendary Team at Whittaker’s as Shift Manager (PM Shift)

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Shift Manager, you’ll :

Lead and inspire a team of 60–70 people in the Finishing areas of our Porirua factory during the afternoon shift (Monday to Thursday, 4 : 00 PM – 2 : 00 AM).

Drive performance across production, quality, food safety, and health & safety

Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality

Foster a high‑performing, inclusive, and safety‑first team culture

Ensure compliance with SOPs, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements

Collaborate across departments and communicate effectively at all levels

Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members

What You’ll Bring

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar FMCG manufacturing or production leadership role

Proven ability to manage large teams (ideally 60+ people)

Strong people management skills, including working with team members for whom English is a second language

Excellent organisational, time management, and data analysis skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
