Banking Specialist - Contact Centre at Westpac New Zealand . Multiple opportunities in our Auckland CBD and Christchurch contact centres. Full time, permanent position with a rotational roster.
Responsibilities
- Listening and Advising : Provide tailored advice and solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring all information is collected in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Proactive Engagement : Identify new opportunities to offer further advice and solutions, helping customers achieve their financial aspirations and retaining our valuable clientele.
- Customer Interaction : Contribute to the success of the business and our customers through solution-focused interactions.
- Product Expertise : Offer the best customer advice and quality outcomes for existing and new customers through lending, insurance, and transactional products.
- Financial Guidance : Provide sound financial advice to ensure our products are suitable for helping customers reach their financial goals.
- Exceptional Customer Experience : Create a world-class customer experience by being empathetic, trusted, and knowledgeable.

What you will bring
Interpersonal Skills : Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to guide individuals to fast and effective outcomes.Customer Relationship Experience : Prior experience in developing strong relationships in a customer-focused role.Education : Tertiary education preferred.Tech Savvy : Confidence in learning new digital platforms and being tech-savvy.Communication Skills : Strong communication and rapport-building skills.Passion for Helping : A passion for helping people achieve their financial goals.Positive Attitude : A good attitude, growth mindset, and willingness to learn.Hours of Operation
Your ordinary hours of work are 7.5 hours per day between 8 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm on Saturdays, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
