Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Administrator (Bluebridge)

At Bluebridge we carry passengers, vehicles and freight between Wellington and Picton daily on our two ships the Livia and the Connemara.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process and receipt cash and credit customer incoming funds on bank statements on a daily basis.

Allocate credit customer receipts to the correct customer account on a daily basis.

Reconcile cash account direct credits, credit card receipts, POLI, Afterpay, EFTPOS and cash bankings and raise applicable manual invoices.

Process cash account receipts to Bluebridge booking system (Bookit).

Deal with any customer invoice queries and process credit notes as required.

Action rebates advised by Commercial Managers and process credit notes as required.

Complete credit and reference checks for new customers and setup new customers in Oracle and Bookit.

Update and maintain customer accounts in Oracle and Bookit as required and advised.

Process partnership commissions for Sales team on a monthly basis.

Oversee credit control including follow up with overdue debtors and placement of debtors with debt collection agencies when required.

Prepare Aged Debtor reports for monthly review by Finance team and Commercial Managers.

Assist other Finance team members with passenger refunds when required.

Work closely with Finance team to ensure monthly financial deadlines are met

Who we are looking for

Considerable experience in an Accounts Receivable role

Strong working knowledge of Excel

Always seeking to make improvements to processes, is comfortable juggling multiple priorities and switching between tasks to meet business deadlines

Working knowledge and experience with Oracle is preferred but not essential

This is a part-time (30 hours per week) permanent role, based at our Head Office in the Wellington CBD.

Please note you must reside in New Zealand and have full New Zealand working rights to be eligible for the role.
