About the Role

We're hiring an experienced Automation Consultant to build workflow solutions for SMB clients. This is a remote contractor position (10-20 hours / week initially) at $60-75 / hour depending on skills and experience. While MinorCo is based in New Zealand, we have consultants across the globe!

You'll work independently on 2-5 active client projects, building automations with Zapier and APIs while communicating directly with clients. We value critical thinking and your input on solutions, not just executing instructions.

What You'll Do

  • Build Zapier-based automations and API integrations for diverse clients
  • Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide updates
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical guidance
  • Follow our SOPs and style guides to maintain quality standards
  • Manage your own workload across multiple concurrent projects

Required Skills

  • 2+ years hands-on experience building business automations with Zapier
  • Strong API integration skills (REST APIs, webhooks, authentication)
  • Excellent written and verbal client communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with Make.com or n8n
  • Familiarity with Pipedrive and / or Asana
  • Experience with AI-enabled workflows
  • A passion for efficiency and technology
