This is a full time position of 40 hours per week. The remuneration range for this role is $108,644 to $153,379 p.a (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience

The Opportunity

The Condition Assessment Programme Lead improves Wellington Water’s understanding of asset condition and risks. You will oversee assessment programmes for critical and non-critical assets, supporting informed decisions on renewals and investments. Working with Asset Planning and Engineering teams, you will ensure best practices, develop assessment guidance, and interpret results to prioritise investments.

You Will Get To

  • Manage the Linear Pipe Condition Assessment Programme (LCAP)
  • Oversea and coordinate contract management activities
  • Provide financial reporting and financial management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders and teams both internal and external
  • Be a Health & Safety champion

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring :

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Senior-level experience in program and project management
  • Expertise in assessment tools, asset grading methodologies, and data interpretation
  • Experience in managing budgets effectively
  • Proven ability to navigate and thrive within complex stakeholder environments
  • Full NZ Class 1 Driver's License
