Lead Geotechnical Engineer

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, based in Tamaki Makaurau Auckland, you will be a vital part of the Ground and Underground Engineering Service Group who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable.What's the mahi?

Manage work programs to ensure that they are delivered to client expectations, timeframes and specificationsDeliver multiple concurrent projects across their entire life cycle, scope management, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk managementBe part of a supportive team that works together to meet our client's goalsUndertaking site investigations for a wide variety of large-scale infrastructure projectsYou will undertake a broad range of geotechnical specific tasks including site investigation, analysis, design, reporting, and construction supervision.

We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a diverse team to bring ideas to life.With at least 8+ years of experience in a similar consultancy-based role, the ideal candidate will possess the following : Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical)Strong local experience in geotechnical analysis and design, with a focus on settlement, foundations, slope stability, and retaining wall designSkilled in developing ground models and identifying geotechnical risksConfident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, including experience engaging with clients on technical and commercial mattersProven experience in site investigations and ground modellingCommitted to mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering technical growth and collaborationA collaborative team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environmentWhy Aurecon?
