Our centre spans three rooms and sits on the second floor, offering a unique view across the whenua and into the treetops – bringing nature into our everyday learning. It’s a space designed for exploration, comfort, and growth, enriched by cultural diversity and purpose-built for success.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Area Manager to foster a culture of positivity and achievement.
  • Support your team to collaborate effectively, meet educational and operational goals, and deliver exceptional ECE services.
  • Provide hands‑on, empowering leadership that supports the team to thrive.
  • Champion fair and inclusive practices, making a measurable impact on occupancy, compliance, and team engagement.
  • Serve as the visible and accessible face of the centre, building strong relationships with whānau and kaiako through open, positive communication.
  • Shape the centre’s reputation and strengthen ties to the local community.
  • Qualifications

  • ECE qualified with full teaching registration.
  • Proven experience in a Centre Manager role, with a strong understanding of what it takes to run a successful ECE centre.
  • Skilled in building relationships with whānau and the community and leveraging these to grow occupancy.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage sustainably and profitably for optimal results.
