With continued project growth, they're looking for a CPEng Fire Engineer ready to step into a more autonomous, client facing role with potential to grow into team leadership and mentorship.The RoleThis role offers real project ownership and regular interaction with clients, consultants, and councils.

You'll be involved in performance-based fire design, site visits, and regulatory liaison, all while contributing to a positive, social team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver fire safety strategies and performance-based designs for commercial buildingsAttend project meetings and liaise with clients, architects, and authoritiesPrepare technical documentation and fire reports for council submissionContribute to mentoring junior engineers and developing internal capabilityRepresent the business professionally across the full project lifecycleWhat We're Looking ForCPEng (Fire Engineering) or already eligibleMinimum 5 years of experience in fire engineering (local NZ experience preferred)Strong communication skills – confident working directly with clients and teamsPractical experience with NZBC C / VM2 and performance-based designA proactive mindset and desire to be involved in both technical and people-facing workBenefitsIncome protection insurance offeredExposure working alongside other discipline directorsCompetitive salary $180,000 - $200,000 per annumWe're always keen to connect with great engineers.
