What you’ll be doing

The Project Practice Lead plays a pivotal role in enabling Generation’s success by leading the team that continuously improves how we plan, schedule, deliver, close out and report work across the Generation work portfolio. This role collaborates closely with the Integrated Work team and other key stakeholders across Generation to ensure that our work practices are fit for purpose, aligned with business priorities, and provide visibility and monitoring of work. The Practice Lead ensures the right capabilities are available to do the work, at the right time, and that work is effectively done now and in the future.

  • Experience in developing and implementing work practices and aligning the right skills and capabilities to deliver the work.
  • Experienced People Leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience delivering cross-functional projects and programmes.
  • Strong business strategy execution, orientation, and commercial nous.
  • Strong planning and work prioritisation abilities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement – ability to understand priorities and advise on skills / talent needed to support.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
  • Great adaptive leadership skills and believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety and trust.
  • Empowers others to fail, learn and grow.
  • Challenges the status quo and has experience in finding new solutions and driving out of the box ideas.
