Taihape Area School is seeking Kaiāko with passion and heart to make a difference to join our team in 2026. Due to growth and current positions being fulfilled by personnel with Limited Authority to Teach, we are seeking Kaiako for a number of areas within our kura to facilitate and lead learning within. One of these positions is :

• our Y7-13 trades (carpentry and / or automotive). The successful Kaiako will
• connect with ākonga interests and be forward thinking.
• manage a creative and active workshop safely.
• be committed to implementing industry and NCEA learning programmes to a high standard.
• be committed to being the best version of themselves in their teaching practice.
