Mo te tunga | About the role
As Retail Manager you'll be responsible for the overall running of the Birkenhead shop, working closely with the Retail Team Leader and Assistant Manager to ensure a fantastic experience for all donors, customers and volunteers. You’ll be on your feet all day, working at pace to sort, price and merchandise donations, completing timesheets and cashing up. Importantly, you’ll be role‑modelling to and supporting your volunteer team, delegating to them and ensuring they get a break and a cuppa. Each day you will roll up your sleeves, lead by example and get involved in everything that's required in driving sales results to maximise income for Hospice.
This is a permanent role working Monday – Thursday 8 : 30am – 5pm (32 hours per week).
An experienced fashion Retail Manager, you live and breathe great customer service. You get on well with all walks of life and can motivate and lead your Assistant Manager, and a team of dedicated volunteers, in a collaborative, open and positive way. You will demonstrate :
