As a Customer Champion Representative at One NZ, you’ll be the ultimate go‑to person for our customers’ sales and service needs in our retail store. You’ll help drive revenue growth while delivering exceptional customer experience and help transform every in‑store interaction into a sales opportunity. You’ll ensure our customers, both consumers and business, find the perfect solutions for their needs. Whether it’s through consultative face‑to‑face interactions, voice calls, or messaging, you’ll guide the sales journey from discovery to close.

This position is a part time role (16 hours per week, with Monday to Sunday availability required for rostered shifts) at our Christchurch Airport store. This role requires 2 night shifts (4 hours each), and 1 day shift (8 hours).
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
You will be responsible for ensuring that One NZ customers’ needs are met from offering advice through to the provision of suitable solutions engaging in active listening, management, and care.
In this role you will also :
- Deliver a high standard of customer experience while maximizing sales opportunities in every interaction
- Achieve and exceed sales targets across consumer and business product lines, including mobile, fixed, accessories, and digital services
- Identify customer opportunities and confidently present our product offerings for both business and consumer customers
- Proactively approach and engage customers, using strong questioning techniques to uncover needs and create compelling value propositions
- Actively diagnose customer requirements and match them with appropriate One NZ products and services
- Provide hands‑on technical support to customers, assisting with device setup, data transfer, and explaining product features
- Stay current with product knowledge, competitive offerings, and sales techniques to effectively position One NZ solutions
- Ensure accurate sales orders and set proper customer expectations for service activation and billing
