We are seeking someone with a positive, friendly, and professional attitude, eager to contribute to our ongoing success.The Lindis Stables operates out of a modern eight bay facility, has 12 residential horses ranging from cross bred horses, Fox trotters, Clydesdales and a couple of retirees.
The position involves riding / schooling / training our herd of horses daily, as well as taking guests on rides across the station.Your main duties will include : Assist in the organisation and maintenance of The Lindis Stables, and team of horses on the station.Assist in guiding horse-back riding services for guests of The Lindis Lodge.Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, documentation and presentation of all horse related resources.Providing an unparalleled standard of customer service that exceeds expectations.Occasionally undertaking other duties within the estate, as reasonably expected, while upholding your level of responsibility and dedication.To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must possess the following qualifications : Minimum of 3-4 year of experience working in the equestrian industry.Legally eligible to work and live in New Zealand.Willingness to relocate and thrive in the captivating yet remote location of the South Island.Possession of a valid full NZ Driver's license as you will be required to drive a variety of vehicles, occasionally towing a trailer / horse float.Flexibility and availability to work weekends and public holidays, and often independently.At The Lindis, we place immense value on hospitality, making every guest feel at home.
