We are seeking aqualified early childhood teacherwith a passion for Steiner / Waldorf education to join our small, nurturing kindergarten community in a beautiful seaside location.

About us :

Our purpose-built kindergarten is licensed for 20 children aged 3 to 6 years.

Set on the edge of the ocean, our light-filled space overlooks the bay and provides an inspiring environment for both children and educators.

Our daily rhythm is enriched by regular excursions to the nearby beach and surrounding bushland, offering children a deep connection to nature and the seasonal rhythms of the year.

The role :

This is ajob-share positionwith sharedmanagement and administrative responsibilities.

For the right candidate, we offer flexibility in hours — this role can bepart-time or full-timedepending on your circumstances and our mutual needs.

We are looking for someone who :

Preferable experience or training inSteiner / Waldorf early childhood education, but not essential

Values warmth, rhythm, and reverence in working with young children

A commitment to upholding the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi.

With an appreciation of te reo and tikanga Maori.

Is confident in working collaboratively within a small teaching team

Brings enthusiasm for outdoor, nature-based learning

Has excellent communication and administrative skills

Is committed to ongoing personal and professional development
