We are seeking two passionate and fluent Te Reo Maorispeaking teachers to join our kura for fixed-term, part-time (0.2 FTTE)positions in
These roles are to provide release cover every Friday for our Level 1 Maori immersion class teachers.
We will consider employing one person as 0.4 FTTE to cover two days per week, but this would not be our preference.
You will be working with dedicated kaiako and akonga who are immersed in te reo and Maori values - one teina class Y1-3 and the tuakana class Y4-7.
These positions are ideal for someone who is passionate about Maori education and committed to nurturing the identity, language, and culture of our tamariki, preferably have experience in Level 1 immersion settings, understand and practice Tikanga Maori, can build positive relationships with tauira and whanau, and who are reliable, flexible, and collaborative.
